03/02 & 12/02: Open HeART CaféCome and draw, paint, or be creative in other ways at the Open HeART Café! These art workshops are organised several Wednesdays per month from 16:30 to 18:30 on campus. Each week there is a different creative assignment; you get tips and tricks, and get to know fellow creative students. The materials (pencils, paint, paper, etc.) is provided and you register for one week at a time, so you are not committed to anything. Sign up here to get creative with fellow students! 05/02: Memoir of a Snail (IFFR)Best of both worlds: One of the finest movies of the festival, preluded by an introduction by one of the greatest academics of Erasmus University. Philosopher Marli Huijer will introduce Memoir of a Snail, the newest film by Academy Award winner Adam Elliot. Does overcoming adversity make us human? How do we come out of our shell? And how can we be free, despite our circumstances? Can we find true happiness? Get your tickets here!

13/11 & 27/11: Creative Writing WorkshopYou will work on short writing assignments where the result is less important than the process. Loose sketches, but with words instead of drawings. You will try out, scrape, puzzle and if you want, you can read aloud. Dare to try out without worrying about the outcome and surprise yourself with your own creativity. The workshop will be offered four times this autumn but will have different assignments each time. This way you could sign up for multiple lessons if interested. Sign up here! 19/02: Lie down concert (Einaudi by Jeroen van Veen)Be You will be lying down around a grand piano in the middle of the room. This concept creates a situation where the audience can listen to music in total relaxtion, lying down on the floor, almost dozing off. There will be two concerts this evening at 19.00 and 21.00. 21/02: WILDe presents An Ideal HusbandTheatre association WILDe is celebrating its 10th anniversary, which of course can only be celebrated with the performance of a play by the society's namesake; Oscare Wilde!
